Mitsuru Gushiken

Born in Okinawa in 1975. He is a traditional craftsman of Okinawa Prefecture. He started making glass in 2001, and studied under "Glass Studio Seiten" from 2013. In August 2014, he established "Ryukyu Glass Studio glass32" in Nago City. He is nicknamed the "revolutionary hero of the Ryukyu glass world" for his creative sensibility. His hobby is surfing, and his works reflect the image of the beautiful but harsh ocean and nature of Okinawa.
