OGDC=Okinawa Graphic Designer’s Class
Designs for Enjoying the Atmosphere of the Time
In the 1980s, the “Okinawa Graphic Designers Club” was born, and designers in Okinawa who were full of distinctiveness, with expressive and technical skills, were passionate about design.
It was a time when design was established as a profession and their works were increasingly introduced into our daily lives as communication design. It is said that “advertisements are a mirror of the times,” and the atmosphere of that time in Okinawan design is reproduced in the classroom as the “Okinawa Graphic Designer Class” by designers who are still active and call themselves “Yambaru lovers”.
