GURIRON
Revive of the sea
In Okinawa, coral bleaching was observed last year (2024) due to rising sea water temperatures caused by global warming.
This live painting event focuses on this environmental issue, and children are painting dead coral in rich colors.
This expresses that the nature may be revived depending on people's actions and that solidarity is necessary to solve environmental problems through art made by everyone's hands, not just one person's.
In addition, the finishing touches illustrate the harmony and revitalization of the entire ocean from a single whale shark swimming by.
