PROFILE
Born in 1989 in Nakijin Village, northern Okinawa.
He took over the farm from his parents, who farmed organically, and began growing Ryukyu indigo using the same method.
He has been making handmade fabrics and objects made by pounding and dyeing the bark of paper mulberry
collected in the village aiming to offer more cyclical works.
