I understand that tradition does not merely mean you conform to the methods carried on from long ago, but that you continue to update those methods, and improve them. Yet, I find the old methods of pottery-making, which are not considered mainstream these days, are so much fun! I truly love pottery from earlier years. I hope I can continue to make old-fashioned pottery by using traditional methods.
