I create daily utensils and tools out of wood and lacquer here in Okinawa. Most of the materials I use come from natural wood grown in the forests of Yambaru. I believe that using the materials to make tools for our daily life, is the same as inheriting life, and passing it on. It is my wish to accept this inheritance, and create daily tools that will be used and loved for many years to come.
