Strong and sharp looks in the eyes of Shisas (Okinawan guardian lions) are likely supposed to keep the houses from disaster. Shisas are familiar to Okinawan houses and are one of the most popular souvenirs. If you are interested in purchasing Shisa for the first time, we recommend the smaller pair of Shisas, a pyxis, or an incense burner.
